Following the promotion of the current incumbent this opportunity has arisen for a strong, ambitious and creative leader to join the Kingswood Secondary Academy and shape the strategic direction of pastoral care.
About the Role
- Lead on improving the outcomes of disadvantaged students (progress, attendance, behaviours)
- Lead on the strategic development of our behaviour systems and monitoring
- Lead on attendance monitoring and interventions
- Co-lead the introduction of our new Pupils at Risk Board meetings
- Support the KS4 Heads of Year in their day-to-day pastoral work
The Kingswood Secondary Academy, sponsored by the Greenwood Academy Trust, moved into new buildings in 2010 and now hosts exceptional teaching facilities, including innovatively designed ICT suites and purpose built science laboratories, to name a few.
