Record breaking GCSE results at Nottingham Girls' Academy

The Trust is proud to announce Nottingham Girls' Academy have broken their GCSE results record.

More than two thirds got above a grade four in English and Maths, equivalent to an old grade C, and 38 percent got a strong pass at grade five or above.

The Academy, which had more than 700 pupils on the roll last year, is also celebrating 44 percent of its pupils getting a grade four in English, Maths, Science, a Humanity and Modern Foreign Language.

The unity and support amongst the girls within the Academy created an environment that was full of ambition, determination and courage. Kinga Cwiek is a testament to the unity and drive at Nottingham Girls Academy. As a polish immigrant who arrived in the UK two years ago, Kinga felt like she was given support by teachers and peers that allowed her to embrace herself, grow and learn. So much so that she attained "exceptional" results, like many other students who are proudly celebrating today.
