A new collaboration between the University of Nottingham and Greenwood Academies Trust is set to bring unique employment and training opportunities to people living in Skegness and the surrounding area.

The partnership will offer fully funded places on the University of Nottingham’s new Mathematics and Education Secondary Teacher Degree Apprenticeship, providing an accessible route into teaching while earning on the job. Participants will train within Greenwood Academies Trust schools, including Skegness Academy, gaining hands-on experience alongside expert support and guidance.

This innovative programme aims to develop the next generation of mathematics teachers, strengthen recruitment in coastal communities, and open doors for local residents wishing to pursue a rewarding career in education.
