Service Description

Our team have extensive experience in creating successful finance functions, both at the centre of the MAT and on academy sites, and can support and advise in reviewing your current structures, together with reviewing the effectiveness of your finance software.

Package details

In order to help you build an effective finance function we will:

• Undertake a Finance System Review,  we will work with you to implement the improvements needed to establish an efficient Multi-Academy finance system providing for the dual needs of individual academies and consolidated MAT reporting
• Assist you in achieving compliance with Statutory Returns, by aligning your financial accounting and budgeting systems to statutory reporting requirements including Annual Accounts, ESFA reporting and VAT returns.
• Review your Governance Structures and provide support and advice to help ensure you have robust and compliant governance in place
• Assist you in building a successful Finance Model, by reviewing your Finance staff structures and their roles / responsibilities as the start of an evaluation process to provide recommendations for the creation of a strong finance function

These services are provided by our Financial Accounting Team, predominantly Dawn Brown FCCA, with support from the Finance Director (Eddie Pearce).
